Banding Wood Ducks at the Muskegon Wastewater Waterfowl Management Unit

The rain didn't stop us as we had wood ducks in the trap. Today there were 4 woodies in the trap, so it really paid off to show up even if the weather was against us. We did get a little break in the clouds for a couple of minutes, long enough for a fleeting rainbow to show up and shine on us.

Thank you to Nik from the Muskegon State Game Area and his crew for all they do to make our Managed Waterfowl Unit a great place to hunt. The Muskegon County Wastewater facility is lucky to have you working with us.

Muskegon County Commissioner Susie Hughes

We did get a little clearing and a tiny rainbow, but the rain didn't stop for long.

Thank you Nik and Greg and all the DNR from the
State Game Area in Muskegon for letting me tag along.
