Commissioner Susie Hughes
Born 1956, married in 1976 to John Hughes. I am Mom to 2 rescue dogs, Toughy, 8 and Babe, 2. I thank all of you for your support and I will do my best to provide the representation you want, need and deserve during my term as your County Commissioner. The Mission Statement for a Commissioner says Muskegon County government serves the community interests of its citizens through the process of representation and proactive local government. The county delivers its many services with fiscal responsibility and appreciation of the community’s rich diversity, while protecting its environmental resources and promoting the quality of life. Muskegon County government strives to maintain the highest standard of conduct and service in its countywide leadership role. I am looking foward to serving as a Muskegon County Commissioner starting my 2 year term in January 2013. Susie Hughes
